The wish box

This is a work I did on commission, I did this artwork for a lady who wanted to give her granddaughter a special gift by giving her this magic box for her birthday. ​

 

Each character painted on the box represents a family member of the girl, and each element has its own specific meaning, all set in a magical enchanted forest.

 

I painted this wooden box externally and internally, with acrylics and colored pencils.
